A Baby


The quietest thing is a new born baby.
It is soft like a pillow and a cloud
that has just been made smoke.
But when it touches the sky it turns white
like a dog's hair and pink like a bun
and colorful like a rainbow and smells like
baby powder and has no hair.
It is white like glue.
I wish it was a baby again.



All Different Colors


I am violet like a bird singing a song in the summer.
I am hot like a bear in a cave eating honey.
I am yellow like a dog in a house.
I am cold like an elephant in Africa.
