My Life as a Dog

Hi my name is Friskie. This is my story of how I became part of
the Clarks family. One night I was sitting in a a cage in a pet store.
Next thing I know I'm flying in Santa's sled. Then I felt my cage
move and all of a sudden I'm sitting under a tree. My owner is
Shawna. Shawna loves me so much! The first time she saw me, she started
screaming "Thank you Santa thank you so much." Her parents raced down
the stairs and said "What's wrong?" Shawna said "I got a puppy I got
a puppy." I was in her arms and she was practically choking
me. Now I've been with my family for one whole year.

What I Wish My Owner Would do for Me

I'm Hunter the dog. My owner and I never get along.
I wish my owner would get me off that stupid leash.
Next he always gives me dried up dog food. He always
leaves this stupid box on instead of playing with me.
Then whenever he opens the door he would kick me
when I tried to get out. I would like it if he took me for
more walks, too, because he only takes me for one walk
a week. This is what I don't like about my owner.

The tapping of black tap shoes,
the colors of dance suits like pink, blue, white and maroon,
my dance class in the white smooth mirrors,
rose perfume in the air, the music "Let's Get Loud,"
the brown wood on my feet in my ballet shoes
the wind blowing in the window and making the
shades rattle like skeleton bones in the wind,
the door opens and creaks when you shut it,
my dance teacher saying " 1234 1234 let's go."

The Road to the Alive Cemetery!

I went to the Alive Cemetery. The reason why
I went there was to see my great, great grandfather's grave.
I went with my two friends and my twenty-nine dogs. These
dogs are guard dogs. I traveled there by a flying stretch limo.
We left on June 17, 3010. The road was as rough as 70-
million bowling balls. It was made of humongous rocks. This
cemetery is in the countryside. The country side looks like a
dark zombie palace. The wind was like a black stormy sky on a
starry night. The moon was almost as beautiful as as my twenty-nine
dogs. We ate chips and cookies on the way there. When we
arrived the cemetery looked like a palace, but something
ugly happened. This cemetery is a home to the living dead. All of a
sudden something happened. The ground was shaking and zombies
rose out of the ground. The zombies eat people and animals.
They like tough people, fat people, skinny people, ugly people, and
pretty people. They eat any kind of animal. The zombies
caught and ate my friends and four of my dogs. It was
scary, very scary! I wasn't glad because my poor dogs
got eaten. I hated this trip. I say you will never
want to go there!

The pink, black and white leotards moving all around the room.
I am swirling faster and faster.
Others are tapping too, the glorious smell of my teacher's
perfume is dancing with her round and round.
My friends and I are tapping across the floor,
When I pliet my hand is touching the off-white ballet bar.
Fresh air coming in the windows,
the girls and I are changing our pink, black and white shoes.

Yankee Stadium at 1:30 P.M.

I arrived at the blue and white Yankee Stadium...
I finally find my seats: they are in the nosebleed section...
I go down to get autographs. I see perfect game winner
David Cone, Roger Clemens, and Mariano Rivera...
The game starts, the Yankee pitcher Andy Pettite is
blowing the Seattle Mariners away...
Red hot Bernie Williams then gets a homer into
Monument Park...
Ricky Ledee the gets an inside the park homer right
over Griffey Junior's black har...
At the end it was a great game, the Yanks win 11-3...
Even though I was real high and couldn't see, it was a
great experience for me...
The bus plays a neat baseball movie on the the way home,
but I am asleep...
I arrive at my light green house at 10:12 P.M. That is the
the last of my cool adventure...

My House at Moving

I hear my brother washing down the stairs...
The smell of my dad's hot coffee steaming through
the air...
The big bright sun shining in my eye...
The taste of fresh bought orange juice flowing in
my mouth...
I hear the sound effects of my atomic purple gameboy
color...
I hear the TV blaring because my brother's cursing in
the kitchen...
I hear mom shout "Get ready, get ready"...
I hear mom starting and warming up the silver-gold
Hyundai Alantra.

The Terrible Bedroom

I walk into my son Jimmy's bedroom and I smelled
my son's green slimy gym socks. I saw black and white
spiders crawling around on Jimmy's floor. I heard
shrieking, howling, and screaming sounds. There were
monkeys climbing on his bed. When I went into Jimm'ys
room later that day I slipped on blue Power Rangers, peach
G.I. Joe figures, and black mini skateboards. In the room
there were smashed toys like grey Mighty Ducks figures,
white baseball figures, blue hotwheels and green matchbox
cars. I could taste an awful taste like black somke and I
felt icky, green, slimy goo. There were clothes hanging from
the brown bed and the dark red dresser. I saw gook hanging
from the green and white plaid curtain. There were toys all
over the light brown bed and the light blue floor.

I wish that Jimmy would clean and be more
responsible or else he will be grounded for ten years. If he
still has a filthy room he will be grounded until he is thirty-
nine years old.

300 Dollars missing

When I was a baby I was at Fashion Bug with my mom.
In the store I was in my stroller and my mom had her purse
in the stroller with me and I reached in her purse when she
was looking at something and took out 300 dollars.

I threw it all over the store. When my mom turned around
to look at me she noticed everything out of her purse and
her money missing. She looked all around the store for her
money. She was very upset.

The road to spooky town

I'm on my way to spooky town, I'm planning
to go there because I like spooky things.
I am traveling with my freind Heidi and
her dad, who is going there by car. Today
is Friday the 13th.The road is lumpy.
It is made out of bugs. We are having
pizza for lunch. The wind is like a
tornado. The sky is black. Also
it's like a desert. There was only
one man. He had a big black mustache
and a snake around his neck.
The buildings are empty there, red
black and dark blue. The man was
eating green spaghetti with bloody
meatballs. It was very scary there.
I liked the journey because I
wouldn't like to disappear like Heidi's dad.
To be continued...

The Teacher Speaks

Every morning as I look beyond my doors I can already hear the terror of
the kids. As I walk out of my classroom I think what is my life worth with
this job. I can see lines of kids in the doorway and I run back in my
classroom. As I sit clutching my desk the second bell rings and I clutch my
desk harder to prepare for the terror. The kids are in the room and I want to
go home but I just remember how much this job pays and I go on with the
day.
In the middle of math the kids were talking about things they shouldn't be
worrying about. I turned to write a problem on the board when the biggest
spitball I have ever seen smacked against the board. When I turned around
the whole class was laughing but it was easy to see who did it. As soon as
lunchtime came I felt great because I'm away from those brats but I know
that after lunch the kids are cranky because they had to stand on the wall at
recess every day. When I got back to the classroom the room was a mess!
There was candy on the ground, toilet paper everywhere, and sticky stuff on
the roof of the classroom! I could believe that one of all of my kids did this!
When the kids got back in the room it was still the same as the kid or kids left
it. All of the kids thought it was gross in the classroom except for three kids
who thought it was cool that I wasn't there. When I found out who did it
I sent the three kids to the principal's office then I went on with the day, As I
left that day every kid tried to push me but the never got to except for one.
That is what my class is because they are the little brat kids.

The Hill

My brother, my mom and I went to Wolfers Hill
a week ago. We were riding down Wolfers Hill.
I went too fast and my bike went to the right and
hit a garbage can. I rolled down the hill and scraped
up my elbows and my knees. My helmet split in
half. I made it home and took a bath and went
to bed.

Gymnastics at 6:30

I can hear the students screaming as they accomplish a skill.

I can hear Mrs. Healy our gymnastics teacher saying good job
as we do our back walk over.

I can feel the joy as they do a cartwheel on the balance beams.

I see my friend doing a back tuck on the blue mat all on her
own without a spot.

The kids are clapping for their friends when they do an
amazing stunt.

But most of all I feel the joy as I do my back hand spring
all on my very own.

The boardwalk at 2:00 PM

I could hear the blue ocean and silver scooters going over
brown boards. I could hear white seagulls and music.

I could smell the white salt in the blue ocean and I can smell
all kinds of pizza.

I can feel the clear wind blowing the sand.

I could see the white waves pushing pale sea shells into shore.

I could taste the red pizza for supper.

After a storm at 12:00 at night

I hear rain and thunder when I am upstairs in my mom and
dad's room because there was a storm.

I see a flash of lightning and pouring rain coming down outside.

I hear my dad snoring very loudly.

I feel like I will never get to sleep as I pull up the bed covers.
I am almost falling off the bed because the whole family is
in bed.

I hear my mom saying the storm is over you can go back
downstairs.

Virginia Beach at 9:00 PM

I hear the black waves brush against the shore.

I see a white lawn chair laying by the water.

I stare at the gray sky.

I hear the black doors close as the people settle in for the night.

I see my sister coming home from a jog at the beach.

I can touch the windowsill as I look out over the dark
blue ocean.

At school 8:15 AM

I can hear the silver bell ringing.

I can see and hear the other kids talking to the other kids.

I can feel kids pushing other kids and me.

I can see Tom in a red shirt doing lunch count.

I can hear the blue chairs crashing in the brown decks.

I can see other kids in the bright gym.
